چکیده
Cement stabilization improves physical and mechanical properties of geotechnical materials. However, numerous combinations materials cement hinder to establish a pattern behavior cement-stabilized Thus, this study aims evaluate the soil-aggregate-cement mixtures (SAC) using high early-strength (HE), contribute dosage aspects ascertain their recommendation as base and/or subbase layers in heavy very volume roads. For this, SAC composed different proportions soil aggregate (20:80 30:70) with 3, 5 7% were produced cured at times (0, 7 28 days). Mechanical assessed terms unconfined compressive strength (UCS), indirect tensile (ITS) resilient modulus by repeated load triaxial test ( ) dynamic ). A compared strengths acting stresses computed mechanistic analysis hypothetical pavements. This same procedure was also used for verifying possibility anticipating construction phases reducing traffic opening time, case mixture Portland composite (PCC) evaluated. Results indicated that SAC-20:80 presented better than SAC-30:70. Also, content led best 5%. All 5% HE had higher interval reached, 3 days curing, respectively, 80% 60% 28-days strength, which is control parameter Sao Paulo-DOT instructions SAC. Findings that, due good behavior, are viable alternatives Additionally, SAC’s earlier curing have shown potential reduce time.

LABORATORY TEST METHODS Soil Mixture Preparation
treatment temperature increased, especially at temperatures in excess of 450~ However, the strength decreases were small (less than 15%), and the concrete strength was still within typical values for structural concrete. The leachability tests showed that as treatment temperature was increased, levels of PAHs in the soil significantly decreased. From the leachability tests performed on samples ...
متن کاملLaboratory Electrical Resistivity Studies on Cement Stabilized Soil
Electrical resistivity measurement of freshly prepared uncured and cured soil-cement materials is done and the correlations between the factors controlling the performance of soil-cement and electrical resistivity are discussed in this paper. Conventional quality control of soil-cement quite often involves wastage of a lot of material, if it does not meet the strength criteria. In this study, i...

Introduction The present study sought to evaluate and compare biocompatibility and setting time of Retro mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), calcium-enriched mixture (CEM) and Angelus MTA. Methods and Materials CEM cement, Angelus MTA and Retro MTA were assessed in set and fresh states. Extracts transformed to each cavity of three 24-well plates in which 1×104 cell were seeded into each well 24...

The aim of this study was to investigate acute toxicity (96-hr LC50 and lethal concentrations) of waterborne metal mixture (Pb+Mn) for the fish, Catla catla, Labeo rohita, Cirrhina mrigala, Ctenopharyngodon idella and Hypophthalmichthys molitrix. The extent of metals bio- accumulation in fish body organs viz. gills, liver, kidney, fins, bones, muscle and skin at both 96-hr LC50 and lethal conce...
متن کاملMicrohardness Properties of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate and Calcium-enriched Mixture Cement Plugs at Different Setting Conditions
BACKGROUND Providing an apical stop in open apex roots is one of the endodontic challenges. The aim of present study was to compare the surface hardness of both mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and calcium-enriched mixture (CEM) cement at different setting situations. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 40 freshly extracted human teeth with a single root and normal apex and no obvious caries or ...
